He earned his Bachelor of Science in Meteorology with a minor in Mathematics from the University of Oklahoma. A native of Dallas, Texas, Andy is thrilled to come to Northeast Ohio for the first time to seek new adventures and forecast the dynamic weather, including lake effect snow of course!

Prior to his position at Cleveland 19 News, Andy was the Meteorologist at WSAZ in Huntington, WV for six years. Before that, he was at KREX in Grand Junction, CO for two years where he put his skills to the test in forecasting the ever-changing Rocky Mountain weather.

Andy is a big college football fan and will especially follow the Oklahoma Sooners every weekend in the fall. When not at work, he looks forward to exploring all the outdoor activities Northeast Ohio has to offer, especially the Metroparks. Plus, he is excited to check out the big professional sports scene.
