Ashley Holder joined Cleveland 19 News in Aug. 2023 as a sports anchor and multimedia journalist.
She formerly was the weekend sports anchor and reporter at the NBC-affiliate WGRZ in Buffalo, NY.
She also was a sideline reporter for HBCU GO covering SWAC football and basketball.
During the 2019-2020 college football and basketball seasons, her passion for storytelling led her to CBS Sports. As a multiplatform sports journalist, she was a sideline reporter for national games on both linear and digital networks.
In April 2017, Ashley joined WCCB Charlotte as a sports anchor and reporter; there she covered the Carolina Panthers and Charlotte Hornets.
Before moving to Charlotte, Ashley spent time in Oregon, covering the Portland Trail Blazers, the University of Oregon, and Oregon State. She moved to Oregon after working in St. Joseph where she followed the Kansas City Royals and Chiefs.
Ashley launched her sports broadcasting career interning with CBS Radio in Atlanta, covering the Atlanta Falcons, Atlanta Hawks, Braves, and all Georgia college teams.
She is a proud graduate of the University of Tennessee. Ashley is an active member of the National Association of Black Journalists.
Mostly importantly, Ashley is a proud mother of twin girls and her dog, Harlem.
