Nikki Gasiewski

Nikki Gasiewski joined Cleveland 19 News in April 2026 as a digital content producer and assignment desk editor.

She grew up close to the Cleveland area as she is from North Royalton and attended Padua Franciscan High School. She graduated summa cum laude from Kent State University with a Bachelor of Sciences in Journalism, having a broadcast focus and a minor in Communication Studies.

At Kent, she was involved in student media as a reporter, anchor and broadcast manager for the student-run broadcast channel Kent Stater TV. She wrote for the paper and digital outlet the Kent Stater as a general assignment reporter.

Before coming to 19, she interned with the Ideastream Public Media newsroom and Fox 8 News as a production assistant for the Emmy award-winning show Friday Night Touchdown.

From her internships and student media experience, Nikki developed a passion for the multimedia aspects of storytelling.

Outside of the newsroom, Nikki likes to spend time with her friends, read and visit local and national parks. Having interned for a football show, Nikki is a sports fan and roots for the Cincinnati Bengals and Cleveland Guardians.
